most people put their tree on the first days of december, and i also do the same...
however nowadays people start putting their christmas decorations from early november, so there's that too...
We already set our Christmas tree since the first day of November
Usually by the 20th.
My family doesn't really have a set time, but we like to go out and get a tree around two weeks before Christmas.
Every time I see you post now, I think of that Christmas Shoes song.
I might just use a houseplant this year lol
I'm too lazy to decorate so I put it off til my kid insists its time lol

As early as possible I guess, we just find a tree with a reasonable price and take it home.
We still haven't put ours up. Maybe running a bit late but it should be this weekend hopefully.
If you really go according to tradition though, at least over here, then most Christmas decorations aren't supposed to go up until about a week before Christmas Day. Before that it's just Advent minimalism. :) Oldskool rules we follow through.
Actually scratch that, tradition's apparently a day before Christmas Eve so we're not behind schedule at all after all. :) I thought it was earlier though...
So: fresh tree for the most important days; traditional throw-out party January 13.
